ANDREA MILLER WAS ARRESTED BY AN MNPD OFFICER IN HER DRIVEWAY AFTER DRIVING HOME FROM WORK. THE OFFICER CLAIMED SHE HAD RUN A STOP SIGN IN HER NEIGHBORHOOD. MR. MOTHERSHEAD SUED, ALLEGING THAT MS. MILLER WAS REALLY ARRESTED FOR “DRIVING WHILE BLACK.” AFTER FIVE YEARS OF LITIGATION AND TWO VICTORIES AT THE U.S. SIXTH CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS, METRO FINALLY SETTLED.
